Alan and Alex Stokes, known as the Stoke Twins and for running a YouTube channel with millions of subscribers, have signed with CAA for representation.
Linking up with the Hollywood talent agency aims to help the brothers move deeper into film, television, major brand partnerships and franchise building. The Stoke Twins have around 133 million subscribers on YouTube, a dominant cultural platform where they struck gold with often absurd long-form vertical videos.
Recent viral videos include I Filled My Entire House With Snakes!, I Tested Banned School Products! and I Saved Mr Beast From Dying, where Alex Stokes tries to stop a serial killer pursuing the biggest YouTubers. One video, I Built 4 Secret Rooms in One Color!, has amassed around 247 million views on YouTube since launching a year ago.
The prank and challenge video stars rank among YouTube’s most watched creators, which includes MrBeast, CaylusBlox and IShowSpeed, and have earned over 200 million followers across all social media platforms. The Stoke Twins’ viral content includes recurring cast members in an expanding Stokes Universe to help target audiences across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Through their Stokes Empire Media banner, the brothers also run a full-scale studio operation with writers, directors, editors and VFX artists to create a constant pipeline of long-form videos. The twins are also developing a slate of traditional entertainment projects, including an untitled streaming series and scripted and unscripted formats.
And they are expanding into global transmedia franchises across TV, live events and consumer products platforms with their own IP.
